We offer a wide selection of different gifts & favours here at Grandad Jim's Leyland, all gifts are available to order in our online shop for click & collect or delivery. We do have some gifts available in store that you may not see online or you can send us an enquiry if you have something in mind!

We have different sized jars to choose from; small, medium & large. You can fill with your favourite sweets, or we offer a range of pre-made sweetie jars too! Gift wrapping option is available.
Our sweet platters are available in small, medium & large, including our luxury sectioned platters. These can be customised or we offer themed options too.

About Our Sweet Shoppe...
OUR STORY
Family Owned Business
At Grandad Jim’s Traditional Sweet Shoppe, we are a family run business named after our late Grandad Jim.
Our leyland store is one of three Grandad Jim's Traditional Sweet Shoppes with two other family run stores in Chorley & Wigan.
Our journey began in 2012 when our founders, Tony & Andy whom are dad & son opened the first sweet shop in Leyland. After great success of our traditional sweet shop, we branched out to open two more stores, in Chorley & Wigan.
Anton the youngest son took on our Leyland shop in 2024, and now runs Leyland store with his partner Danielle.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Grandad Jim’s Leyland, we like to bring back that childhood nostalgia with a range of traditional sweets. We like to sell you memories not just sweets.
Although we offer a large variety of the best selling sweets, along with a range of American sweets, we also stock vegan & sugarfree sweets too so everyone can enjoy a sweet treat.
We believe that a sweet treat can brighten anyone's day, and we want to ensure your visit to Grandad Jim’s is a sweet experience.
OUR TEAM
Leyland Shops Team
We are Anton & Danielle and we manage our Leyland shop, we are part of the Grandad Jim's family and we take much pride in our shop!
Anton is the candyman, he knows everything about sweets!
His favourite things to make in our shop are sweet jars & surprise bags.
Danielle is the chief gift-maker, most of our gifts are handmade by Danielle. Her favourite things to make are sweet bouquets & seasonal gifts.
We have some other familiar faces on a Saturday, Libby & Nyah are usually in our shop on Saturdays and our children often pop in from time to time and like to help with little jobs.
